confirm or deny?
I don't agree...
(1) Intellectually mature people are either having children late in life or they are not having children
(2) The majority of people having children are "young and dumb"...Many of them are not even in situations where having children is financially feasible
(3) The Black American community is the Gold Standard of how having children doesn't make any body "grown"...
(4) You need to be in a professional field (medicine, law, engineering, finance) where you are constantly interacting with people who have more power than you, and you are making big decisions, and influencing changes...That kind of responsibility will make you more "grown" even if you are not a parent...
(5) You need to have concerns about society, politics and have a well developed and informed opinion on every big psycho-socio-political agenda and event currently happening today...
If all you care about are Jordan sneakers, PS4, which rapper is hot right now, and light skinned men/women, then you are not "grown" even if you have children...
Therefore, NO...Being a parent doesn't make one "grown" it just means that you are a parent...If you can keep your family together, maintain your family's optimal health and socioeconomic, and provide your children with the best education, then yes, you can considered "grown"...
