Op is right

Most people are over weight according to the health standards. And being over weight is determined by you're BMI more than "how much you weigh" because it varies depending on height.

Most men and women are either over weight or Obese but don't look like it because of how they hold there weight. Its not healthy but a lot of things aren't healthy.

If your obese I'd highly suggest toning it back, not saying you need a 6 pack...but its not if but WHEN problems start because of your weight, they aren't going to stop.

I say all this and I eat super unhealthy lol..... so:manny:

I'm just barely overweight tho :umad:

BMI is laughable

I'm not reading this thread after reading the first page.

Title is bullshyt, OP is self righteous conjecture and it's borderline anti black. It's not racist though it is borderline anti black. I'm offended, amused, and I'm baffled.

I sincerely hope this isn't a thread made by a thin guy. Some bodies are programmed to be something. I'm a thin guy and I gotta eat hella un-healthy to put on weight. Some people gain weight quicker than others because their frames are meant to bigger than somebody with a thin frame.

If OP is naturally thin his assumptions about the lifestyles of heavier folks isn't fair. Being skinny isn't easy and everyone meant to be skinny. Fat is a necessity, we need to fat to live. We find fat attractive.

Stop shaming people for being different than you. That shyt ain't cool.

Of course ancient fukking Africans and Greeks weren't fat. Most were borderline starving to death. Cars didn't exist and everyone was physically active due to the Internet and electricity not existing. Come on man, what kind of comparison.

Ancient civilizations, well some, found fat people to be blessed. They thought being fat was a sign of wealth, femininity, status, and fertility.

Everything about this thread is hella biased and I can't support this at all.

Wow. I speak from a position of a person who was overweight this time last year. I am not skinny but neither am I fat. Why is it so hard for you and others of your mindset to grasp that being obese/overweight is unhealthy? Why is that so hard for you to grasp? I have no ill-will towards fat people, especially black people. I clearly stated that we should do a better job at not agreeing/enabling their lifestyles and I am labeled as bashing. Wanting to see my people healthier is bashing now. I didn't make crude jokes, I didn't call anybody out.

If you disagree with anything I said then you yourself are anti-health/anti-black because you are saying that this is not an issue and that nothing should be said/done about this serious issue. Reading comprehension.

You probably have a low body fat.
Like the other poster @The ADD said, BMI isn't a good indicator of being overweight or health.

BMI would seem to be a good indicator of weight not health but def weight.

Infact can anyone post up what makes someone overweight officially from a medical standpoint

I'm pretty sure that's the average not the exception like for people who workout.

Overweight didn't always or necessarily mean unhealthy in the charts case I don't think

A lot of people workout and I don't mean NFL level. Under the same principle I'm 5'9 and float around 195 - 200 pounds. According to BMI I should be 170 pounds. That's just not "liveable" and damn near not achievable.

If it doesn't accurately account for people who moderately workout, what good is it?

I was wondering why a fat shaming thread was so long :russ:

Got no problem with fat people as long as they're trying to lose weight.
