I just got back from the franklin park zoo (shout out to my beantown folks )... i havent been there in over 10 years and i was expecting to relive my childhood for the day... as soon as i get in there i see an ostrich posted up by the fence so i go over and look at him and he only has 1 eye like and looked sad as fukk ... everywhere i went the animals were lookin depressed as hell. I don't remember them looking so bored and sad from the last time i went. It was depressing. even the people that worked there looked like

i went to the Bronx Zoo a few years ago and they had a Polar Bear outside in 92 degree weather looking like

shyt was terrible.
those animals need to be left alone in the wild.

I realized this today ... there was one exhibit where the sign read a leopard had killed a gazelle and took it up a tree. however they removed the leopard and left the gazelle so the sign just read that people can look at the dead carcass if they want

I think animals who are on the lower end of the food chain love being in the zoo, they know its a jungle out there.

Once you become an adult you realize those animals are being kept against their will, shyt is basically prison.

Zoo's should just be a place for animals being rehabilitated so they can be released back into the wild, or animals with disabilities that can't make it in the wild. There's no excuse for keeping a healty animal there.

LMAO. I worked at the zoo most of this summer. I was miserable breh. Everyone working there is. Its too hot for that shyt. But the animals at the Cincinnati Zoo are well taken care of and we were known for it.
