Yo Shohei, I'm really happy for you. Imma let you finish...but Aaron Judge had one of the greatest seasons of all time.

Judge will win the AL MVP and Ohtani will win the NL MVP.

But I made this thread to give Judge a little more shine because for a guy with that kind of season...playing in NYC, somehow Judge has gotten way less publicity than Ohtani has.
Because if he goes back to hitting .211 in the playoffs and doesn’t win a World Series, nobody will care.

MLB likely wishes they could use NBA refs to make the NY vs. LA World Series this year more than ever.

Should both teams have more chances in the next couple years? Maybe…but who knows.

Like I said before, I don't follow baseball as much as other sports, but what I'm seeing here is Aaron Judge has the better overall season.

However, it's the fact that Ohtani is doing what he did as a pitcher is maybe more remarkable (although I know he didn't pitch this season). I think that's a large part of why they're also fascinated at Ohtani's overall numbers - a pitcher really has no business going 50/55, especially an ace pitcher at that (this I'm familiar with). Most other pitchers would basically be useless at this point as they take a season to recover.

How do you see someone with 49 less steals having the better overall season?

This isn’t just my own personal opinion.

With Ohtani people are just happy he’s doing this on a good team. With Judge, it’s more about making sure he ain’t the next Mattingly,
I spent all fukkin season telling you guys that the Yankees are held together by 2 players and 7 bums.

And you're here ready to blame the Yankees failure on Judge if he doesn't go Super Saiyan this month.

What are they putting in your hookah?
