buffy didnt age well AT ALL, had to skip the 2nd season cuz it was way too much twilight drama and stupid monster of the week eps...on season 3 now but its pretty much more of the same
Although I agree with about "Angel" being a better series than "Buffy", Seasons 2 & 3 of "Buffy" are probably better than any season of "Angel".They did such a good job of mixing the season-long storylines & monster-of-the-week episodes. How you gonna knock "Buffy" for monster-of-the-week episodes, when "Angel" did the same thing?

It's not, Angel was the better show stylistically, it has everything the audience wants, a loveable/tortured protagonist, and one epic ass backstory. The problem with Joss Whedon, is that he's a cac that tries to be funny. And while at times he delivers, he's always going to be the corny white boy who thought grown men would like Buffy.
Angel was far more dark, damn near everyone he met or befriended was as fukked up as he was or close to. Plus Lorne was an O G.

breh it was torture for me, fight scenes werent on point like they were for angel and i just cant get into the silliness of it....it wasnt catered for me at all, angel was that dark gritty shyt i could fukk with...buffy came on when i was real young and it was still corny to me then when my mom watched it

I loved both but as I think Angels redemption story struck a cord with me more than Buffy . And the whole idea that the good fight never ends but you fight it anyway cause there's good in fighting
