I just started going back to the theater after many years of basically never going. Internet made it too easy to get stuff

Now I have a little extra cash and enjoy going to a movie by myself. Its relaxing

also, i did notice that everyone in my theater considered michael pena comedic relief only. kind of weird, considering some of the things he said in the movie (and the girl in the tank)

some of the scenes felt very well done, and gritty, the way it should be. other scenes felt like "hey guys we need this to feel more war like, so let's throw in some war cliche/badassery

so much of it felt hit or miss to me. can't quite put my finger on it now but it just seems like some scenes were out of place and that some of the old time war cliches came out too much

the main character, the new guy, his transformation from scared newcomer to grizzled war vet just seemed to happen way to fast IMO


idk brehs, this movie should have been a lot better than it was. i would have to re-watch it to really put together my thoughts cohesively
