What’s crazy is because @beaniemac survived, we’ll never hear his story on the news. There are countless shootings where people do survive. Some may suffer just a graze wound, while others end up with serious medical issues and expenses. We don’t hear about them though. We barely hear about the ones who died.

It's ironic because one of my guys and I was talking about how I need get my carry license since I moved right next to Austin (I live in the burbs). He always tells me about how I have the nicest car on the block and eventually somebody'll notice and might start plottin.

I'm 100% for real. So last night I ran a quick errand and my neighborhood is very quiet as we have lots of city workers and cops in the area. That said, I was returning home and I opened my garage in the alley. As soon as I pulled in two nikkas with hoodies covering they face ran up on me while I'm in the whip pointing a gun at me. I had my 9mm right next to me and as soon as I reached for it, they started shooting. I couldn't even get a shot off, but they hit me twice in my ankle breaking my left ankle. And twice in my left arm breaking my arm. When I pulled the gun they were kinda running and shooting and ran off. I'm sure this was an attempted carjacking. So I tried to get out my whip to close the garage door and call 911, I immediately fall on the ground. I couldn't walk cuz my ankle and it hurt like hell. So I laid on the ground in my garage and called 911 while holding my pistol in my right hand just in case they came back. Not gonna lie, I was hurting bad. But the ambulance and the police came and now I'm in the hospital. In telling y'all.....2020 shyt is real. But at least I'm alive to tell the tale. Make sure y'all tell your loved ones u live then cuz life can be taken in the blink of an eye.

Glad you survived OP!

Sorry to read that you had to go through the pain, but ankles and arms can heal. As for those a$$holes who shot you, they gonna get what is coming to them! I believe in cause & effect.

Get well and keep your head on a swivel along with that thang on you moving forward!

Glad you turned out alright, kid. Im in different vehicles weekly..im very proactive in where I park and just my surroundings. I don't like tinted cars suddenly parking next to me for any reason.

I park in a private garage in a well out Alley. It can happen anywhere.
