It’s foxx. I’m all for progressive SA but this shift is ridiculous. Violent crime should never be lenient in the system. Most of these are young nikkas just roaming around neighborhoods staining cars and using them to commit more crime. And since they are under 17 they go to juvie court. It’s a mess and it’s only worse because these dudes out of school and bored af.

This, I live near where the firefighter just got killed yesterday, and my wife is always on me because I don't leave the house without it anymore since the pandemic and protests got crazy.
These young boys out here moving reckless and without fear of repercussions, I'm putting a hole in somebody if I have too.

Idk about that, if you’re middle class then you probably wfh plus you’re invested in the stock market. That shyt had been going up like crazy
only certain types of jobs are wfh.

Certain industries have been destroyed...industries where people were making good money...
...thats why you see those white folks freaking out about the lockdowns...
...wfh jobs are generally city folks.

In a few months you dont go from having a stable life w/ a house, family, etc...
...to jamming a gun in someones face taking their car

if you were poor before covid...what difference does being poor now make?
Especially when its super easy to get government money now.

Fair enough.

In that case, it rubs me the wrong way that the dispatch is doing that.

Like I said, maybe I'm off, but it's an automatic eyebrow raise from me when race is mentioned in crime ONLY in reference to black people.
its Chicago...violent crime 9 times out of 10 is going to be done by....:francis:

Sage is supposed to be good. along with Mahogany. Flight was one of the best rated places here but supposedly the staff is on some racist shyt...Second Line in midtown is cool, you'll usually find a chill mix of folks there. McEwen's is solid, they're nice and low key but I don't recall seeing many black folks there. there's also Erling Jensen out east. Rendezvous is ok for bbq, not where I'd go for authentic Memphis bbq but they have a few items worth getting if you're going to stay in the downtown area. stay safe and eat well, breh!
Yeah I’m not going to flight. Them crackas ain’t getting shyt from me. So is Memphis nightlife more lowkey and kinda bar style? I don’t recall seeing any young black professional type hangout spots/lounges. For a majority black city it kinda shocked me

Memphis nightlife is kind of a joke, always has been IMO. I mean you have Love out SE but the owner (Curtis Givens) is in a shytload of trouble with the health dept after he had his annual all black affair in tents in the parking lot. I used to hit old school Sundays at Senses back around 2007, after Senses closed pretty much all you had was Curtis Givens owned spots...there's Paula Raiford's Disco but I fukking hate the crowd there, even though it's black owned it attracts a bunch of disrespectful fratty douchebags who are one incident away from needing their jaws tapped. one of the benefits of growing up here, house sets/parties are where it's at. there are some pretty cool bars but again, on that front, I don't know of any solid black owned ones
