Hue should absolutely get hired by a team that can't interview him until he's done with the playoffs :troll:

Make threads without understanding how the interview process works, brehs
Yeah we know that teams hire immediately and don't wait to the end of the playoffs. Thats a historical fact. Dan Quinn snuck his interview in during the playoffs before Atl hired him.

:mindblown:

1 year as Broncos O-Coordinator with a good Peyton Manning. 1 year as the bears OC with the 21st ranked offense. Yep he's the man for the job. :mjpls:

Hue was the best candidate on paper, no question. But if you're asking how Gase got a HC job so fast, it's because of his network. Dude's coaching tree and recommendations are impeccable. Apparently, the Browns wanted him to interview for their HC spot two years ago.

Thats all it takes for a cac to get a head coaching job. :heh: Lead a pretty good QB to a 92 QBR and the 21st rated offense.

...that's not all he did. Elway and Peyton have basically called him a genius.

But your larger point, that Gase lacks Hue's HC experience, is correct.

The Seahawks also had a bye week during the wild card round, when Quinn would have had time for an initial interview. Wouldn't be a good look if Hue spent a day this week going to interviews instead of preparing for the Steelers

Quinn also couldn't be named Falcons HC until the Seahawks were eliminated, so Gase would have still gotten hired first even if somehow Hue had time to get interviewed and picked by a team this week.
