And for the record, I think Piccolo was like 4th in the power rankings of the Z fighters behind, Goku, Gohan and Vegeta.
Piccolo was stronger than Trunks and Goten individually, but weaker than Gotenks, who honestly was 2nd in power behind Vegetto, if you count fusions.

goku got that kal-el syndrome, if he was really bout that life there would be no long drawn out sagas like we have, he could of killed fat buu as a ssj 3 but nooooooope we wants to play games... thats why vegitto >>>>>... vegeta mindset with goku abilities nikka WHAT!?!?!
Vegeta would literally commit suicide if he wasn't stronger than Piccollo. The man sacrificed his humanity to be on par with Goku and was PISSED when he found out Goku had been holding back during thier fight....

Vegeta wasn't really weak though. He just wasn't as strong naturally as Goku or had the latent potential of Gohan. Those two are really the ones stronger than Vegeta...
Remember, Goku was just freakishly gifted. It's mentioned several times during DBZ by Vegeta that Goku shouldn't be as strong as he is. Vegeta tried to figure out for YEARS what it was that made Goku so strong, first he thought it was his dedication to training, so he went off to an abandoned planet to train and became SSJ1. Then he thought it was Goku's dedication to his family and friends, so he married Bulma and had Trunks, then he thought he needed to be Evil again and became Majin SSJ2. Then finally he had to just admit to himself that Goku was just naturally better...
Yea, I get that. Im talking moreso about tv shows making one character the chronic loser in an attempt to prop up to the hero. It was so many moments Vegeta should've swagged out on Goku or been the one to save the world but Toryiama shytted on him. It took away from his arc IMO. I think it would've made Vegeta's development much better if he was able to prove to Goku he was better just once. Goku could've won the other 99 times but, we should've saw Vegeta get in his ass once. Maybe if like Majin Vegeta beat Goku to a pulp, only to realize at the end, he never really wanted to kill him or if he did he'd have no one to fight anymore

Eh... You may have a point but DB is Goku's story and in Anime/Manga of this type, the hero ALWAYS wins and Vegeta was mostly a selfish, arrogant b*stard for most of DBZ anyway. How would it look if the selfish prick got one over on the wholesome hero? Goku been sacrificing his life for earth since he was 8 years old, Vegeta been out murdering and pillaging. He had his moment of character development when he FINALLY did something unselfish and kamikazed himself in order to defeat fat boo and protect his son, but beat Goku? Naw bruh...Nah

I may be the only one who thinks this, but I dont think Goku was naturally better. I think Goku initially had a better trainer ( king kai , who if he never trained with there would be no frieza/cell saga because Vegeta would of dusted him off easily.).
Plus with saiyans getting better with each fight, Goku recovered alot better from his fight with Vegeta than Vegeta fighting with Goku. then Goku trained on the space craft to namek( using the 100x - 400x gravity), was severly hurt when captain ginyu took over his body and recovered *again*, took krillen getting killed to go SSJ1 etc.
Also if I remeber correctly, when Goku was killed for the 2nd time, didn't he enter a tourment in the underworld and was fighting picon who was just as strong as Goku? While Vegeta was stuck on earth with nobody to fight. Goku just always ran into the right situation or had a better training method to give him that edge over vegeta.
Only saiyan I know that was born natually better than everybody else was Brolly. lol
