People love drama and intrigue
but, how many homicide trials have they been to, or sat through?
They are all like this, long, sometimes funny. sometimes boring. Sometimes each side makes some good points, but it comes down to what's the most reasonable explanation? What story does the jury believe? it's not the story YNW Melly and his team are selling.
but on the other side, this is some small town in Florida right? It's not Southern District of New York, it's not Manhattan or even LA County. These are not always the best and brightest prosecutors. And this is kind of a weird case, but convictions get returned all the time with no murder weapon, and no real motive. it's about the weight of all the evidence, and the evidence is sometimes boring, cell tower data, gas station videos.
it's only social media and "common folk" who gasp about things like murder weapon! fingerprints! where's the EYEWITNESS!
