that's why you don't really pay attention to opening statements (if you have some type of legal sense of course which most people don't).... it's like the whole judge a book by the cover thing, since the attorneys are basically free to say whatever they want to say.... but that's not evidence.
a lot of legal experts are saying the evidence is lacking and the prosecution is making a lot of mistakes at this point of time
