YG - Still Brazy (Discussion Thread)

I listened to this album.. thought it was really boring

The intro gave me hope but listening to the rest of the album it just feels bland
-Production is bland like you can tell the producers gave this dude their worst beats.. like I get that hes trying to bring that West Coast sound back but it just sounds dull to me.

-Replacing 'c' words with 'b' is not cool its cringeworthy

Like I get that hes trying to show the world his perspective of life dealing with the police n shyt but its just.. flat..

Like someone already said, YG knows his lane and sticks to it. You gotta be like 18 if you comparing Still Brazy to TPAB tho lol.

I enjoyed the album. YG one of my favorite rappers, I'm a west coast head.

Very dope, so far my favourite hip-hop album this year, Malibu is the only which would compete or would be better but Malibu isn't hip-hop.

Is it just me or anybody else doesn't understand what's the big deal with She Wish She Was. I get that it's misogynist but it's just the usual antics nothing more or less. I think everybody used to this who listened a lot of WC hip-hop. I don't say that it's something I agree on, actually I disagree with it but it's not as scandalous as some people picture it, as I said, just the usual antics. Maybe these antics rarer in 2016, that might be true...

Seriously up there as AOTY so far! It has that blassic WC gangsta with the funky grooves I've been missing (like Doggystyle, Chronic vibe). The only way it compares to TPAB is the sound and vibe of the overall album with the funk grooves.

I hope the album gets the praise it deserves
