SD is booked just as trash as Raw is. There is no appreciable difference creatively. The entire product is lazy and stale.

The fake intellectual superiority people pull in order to defend SD just because Roman isn’t on it and make excuses for Styles/Bryan/Nak/etc not doing numbers is :mjlol:

Yeah I have to agree because I just got done watching last night's Smackdown and it has been trash the last 2 weeks imo. I usually give SD a break because it's really a hit & miss show, whereas the creative team for RAW don't even try to come up with anything worth watching. Which is why I stopped watching/recording RAW about 2 months ago.

The only saving grace for WWE right now is NXT. Got a house of talent going to waste all because of lack of creative.

The product is ass right now, and WWE is in a position where that's never mattered less to them. Raw ranges from embarrassing to aggressively mediocre with the possibility of some excitement, usually due to Seth. And SmackDown is a show I feel we've been so conditioned to think is lesser that even when it IS good, it feels like its irrelevant. The B show for real.

Right now i'm just watching 205 and NXT. Even when those aren't omfg amazing at least they're logical and not insulting to my intelligence. Next step for me is cancelling the Network. I've got Hulu and streaming sites to fall back on. While 9.99 is still a dope fukking price considering what you get, I feel like its an endorsement of the current product to continue to pay for it.

Vince ain't did nothing of serious wrestling notary since the Attitude Era. Every since '05 WWE has been on steady decline in terms of quality of the product.

I would say an overall decline with a few peaks, 2013 and 2016 for instance were pretty good year, especially 2013 but it seems like the bottom has fell out in 2018 and it may be as bad as it has been in 23 years.

I remember WWE being really bad in 2007 because of the Chris Benoit murder/suicide & the injury bug going around. 2013 was good for the first 8 months and then it went to shyt during the fall of that year and it got really bad in early 2014 w/Batista returning & Punk leaving.

The only reasons I haven't cancelled the network is for NXT and the PPVs (and most of those aren't very good). My issues w/PPVs are now is they just too damn long. Pre-show starts at 6, PPV ends around 11 or 11:30. :hhh:

Once the indy playfighters took over
The industry went into a downward spiral
This is what happens when you let neckbeards on the internet message boards dictate the business

Ratings won't matter because the bag is already secured:wow:. Vince could air him taking a shyt in the Gorilla and wiping his ass with rough drafts of the Raw script and nothing would change. Either embrace the Big Dawg or GTFO:ufdup:

That's that WCW short term thinking.

The company is dropping in popularity every year, meanwhile the company is doing nothing to arrest slump. Instead they're doubling down on their terrible booking decisions and purposely antagonising their remaining fanbase. They ain't going out of business any time soon, but they don't have a healthy long term future if things continue this way. They're basically WCW in 1998 now. The warning signs are all there but they don't care because they're making bank.
