This stockholm syndrome bears fans have over JF is insanity :mjlol:

I wouldnt be shocked if the Dolphins had the number one pick if they would ship tua out and pick williams and we over here saying keep jf when he hasnt shown much to warrant such conviction. Outside of being a dope ass person, but that doesnt make you a productive player sooo

After 3 years Rubbishky made a pro bowl went to the offs and had better numbers than JF and we all agreed he had to get out of here.

Imagine Texans turning down Stroud cuz they got davis mills :dead: david mills and trade down for a haul man. Itll be our year next year :mjlol:

If they pass on taking the consensus braindead cant miss pick Imma be both amused and shocked. Every other fanbase looking at us like were retarded for making arguments for not taking williams.
My whole philosopy this entire time is I would rather go the route of building a full team rather than taking a gamble and thinking replacing QB will solve all our problems. SF went to the SB with Jimmy G. Team was already stacked though. They decided to trade up to get Trey Lance as the missing piece, and heā€™s already gone. They got lucky with Brock Purdy. Crazy thing is they already have another top 3 QB pick on their roster, and heā€™s not any good either, which goes to show how high draft picks at QB aren't a sure thing.

I just don't see ANY way the current team gets worse next season (barring injury) with more talent, and they really should've finished 10-7 if bad coaching didn't blow three games. Now if they replace the QB, it's high risk and high reward. Maybe Caleb is that dynamic QB we have been missing for almost a century? There's also the risk that we could take a step backwards with him, which could cause current players to question upper management, which could damage the chemistry of the entire team and then we have to start from scratch again.

If they aint questioning upper management after several years of being terrible I dont see how some rookie growing pains will change that unless Williams is a complete a$$hole

Players arenā€™t looking at the entire history like a fan would. They look at things from the moment they arrive. If they came to a bad team and started to see things moving in the right direction, only to regress, they will have questions. You donā€™t think DJ Moore would feel a way if the Bears became worse next year when heā€™s been on record saying he doesnā€™t think any of these QBs coming out are better than Fields? He had his best season of his career this past season.

DJ just posted a highlight clip that made sure to show Justin's throws.

Ofc they gon ride with JF since he a good dude and has been dealt a shytty hand to begin his career.

But all that will fly out the window if Williams comes through and is having 3-400 yrd games. Theyll move on pretty quickly.

Ultimately you can def win with justin but if need to surround him with a bunch of talent and offensive minds for him to be good then why not just take Williams who day 1 will probably be a better passer.

Its not like the bears dont have another 1st snd cap space. Any holes can be filled even without this haul. IDK how sustainable jf playstyle is cuz he gets injured every year too

Idk if Fields will ever develop his release to Josh Allen's standards. However, I swear after his 1st two years in the league people would say the Bills would be crazy to stick with Josh Allen over Tua if they had a top 5 pick in the draft.

Some guys just need time. Although it appears Fields time is up.

While true and a disappointment from Fields. Again Claypool fell the fukk off and Mooney suddenly disappeared as well.
And there's Daboll vs. Getsy.

Still Fields obviously wasnt reading the field or playing as well as he should though. I was hoping he could rise above it and be very good anyway and he didnt.

If this was year 3 with a new OC I'd think people would be more patient. Again the point is he already wasted one with Nagy and two wiith Getsy. Daboll spent 3 years developing him before he took off.
