They rumored to hire Beli.

And are you taking MHJ or Drake Maye?
I would take MHJ for sure with a bunch of other assets Iā€™d get from Washington if that were an option.
If the Bears want a QB and believe that Caleb Williams is the best QB on the board, they will take him #1 overall
It would be absolute malpractice to trade down and take a lesser prospect
Iā€™m simply asking how desperate do you think Washington would be to move up. Are you saying thereā€™s ZERO offer the Bears could refuse because they just have to take Caleb?
It depends on what they would give up, Caleb isnā€™t the only high end qb in the draft but we donā€™t know how poles feels about Williams, he might really like him
Thatā€™s what Iā€™m asking. What is an offer that the Bears better not refuse?

The heights
Courtney Cronin makes it sound like Flus is coming back

if they are going to bring Flus back, I think they should bring back Justin & trade down. There is absolutely no logic in taking a QB at #1 and trusting Flus to develop that pick. It would be malpractice. It couldnt be any further from being a strength of his

You know whatā€™s going to happen flus returns, hires frank reich as his oc and drake maye is drafted :francis:

I never said they have to take Caleb. I said it they want to take a QB and he's #1 on their board it would be malpractice to be trading down. You don't screw around with franchise QBs.
They need to do their evaluation and take the best guy available. Never said it has to be Caleb although I do think he's the best guy.

I think a lot depends on if Harbaugh becomes available which I believe he will
If the Bears are a serious organization they hire Harbaugh
Matt Eberflus hasn't really shown anything to stop the team from going after a true difference maker like Harbaugh

There is a caveat: you're not going to draw the best coach you can without the promise you're drafting Caleb Williams for them.

You have to be honest, the best coach possible you can hire right now probably doesn't want to start the era with Fields if one of the best prospects of the last 24 years is right there for the taking. Purely X's and O's decision.

You want a great coach, but there's a high chance that coach doesn't want to build what they have in mind with Fields as the QB.

My initial question was about Washington and the possibility of them trading up. Even if the Bears STILL decide to draft a QB at #2, how desperate do you think Washington might be if they really want Caleb that bad? How much do you think theyā€™d be willing to give up? Then second part, if Caleb was #1 on the Bears board, is there simply no offer Washington could make? Like if they offer the #2 pick, Terry McLaurin, 3 additional first round picks, and a couple of first round picks. Youā€™re turning that down?

Yall focusing on qbs and wrs. None of that shyt matters if yall donā€™t fix that o line. Should be priority #1. If im making the decisions im flipping Justin for picks. Flipping that #1. for a haul. Then get the best offensive lineman with my 1st pick and the best qb available with the next pick. Not sold on Caleb. Iā€™ve. Actually stayed up and watch those Pac 12 after dark games to see him play word to my brother (for the day) @Silkk . Donā€™t know what your cap space is like but im throwIng all my money at offensive lineman and a #2 wr. Nothing else matters.
A couple of guys on the oline was injured this week. So yesterday's like was a patchwork. That is not the regular line.
