I mean both the GM and HC have the same agent, who is notorious for getting his guys onboarded. That was already a bad sign before Eberflus was hired.

I would not leave that up Eberflus. He let Williams phone it in while doing who-knows-what instead of coaching and he never reigned in Getsy's moronic calling. He himself doesn't take blame and - as seen today - doesn't want to rock the boat when it comes to schemes and their makeup. This is hallmark Reinsdorf level shyt.

The fact that Poles lets this connection override the performance of the team tells me he shouldn't even pick the OC. I mean sure, you gotta let the HC coach, but at what point do you allow your buddy to keep fukking shyt up?

Fields is too boom or bust to me. If the Bears didn't have options, then he's fine, but they do, I think they should make a move.

Last week he's throwing darts in the fukking snow. This week, the OLine was trash, he gets sacked 5 times... The one big throw he had to throw was that Kmet TD that really should have been picked.

There's too much variance with his play, and that's not all on him, that's the OC and the players too, but this game was just a microcosm of what's wrong with this team's offense.

Aaron Rodgers, Mahomes, Brady, Cousins, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers and Love all have something in common that most young QBs don’t anymore. 1-3 years on the bench learning a system and behind a proven QB is by far the best way to go
