I mean as big a fan of Fields as anyone but if we are being objective you don't need to even have to be a average qb to replicate his production (so far)
I meant putting his hopes on the lions oc(whatā€™s the deal with the bears hiring nfc north coordinators) and williams(this only makes sense if you get Eric b, anybody else will try to make him something heā€™s not)

I mean the rationale is fairly sound if they come here considering we already know what we have so if we simply get people that are able to perform at the median level its an improvement.

Ben Johnson could be mid. Same with Williams. we know Getsy is terrible and Flus is a nimconpoop. JF is who is he is and if they were to keep him the whole coaching staff has to go and bring in someone who will play to his strengths more. But I doubt poles will pass if he has the 1oa because rookie contract+you can probably get at least a second for fields. rookie qb would be walking into a team that isn't a bottom of the barrel team talent wise so could work.

ATP I will just be glad when this is over so the fanbase can bytch over something else (not saying you bytching just in general)

The only thing Iā€™ve been saying related to this is draft a qb in the later rounds and make Justin and dude compete for the starting position, you not necessarily forced to take a qb with the first pick

Cause are people positive that Williams is head and shoulders above everybody else?

I guess Iā€™m saying Williams might be bad value as the first pick unless he is obviously the best Player let alone best qb in the draft

I would agree if bears also didnt have their first pick. Hed have to be historically poor not do at least do okay here as the team is about a wr n center/tackle away on O and the defense is good.

Ben Johnson develop Goff to what he is now and his offense have been a great offenses two years in a row he balances the run/pass,use motion to find mismatches similar to Kyle Shanahan, uses play action correctly unlike getsy and calls game within the flow of the game unlike getsy and Nagy Ben Johnson is the real deal he will be every team first option with Texans OC Bobby Slowik being the second I wouldnā€™t hire slowik he could be a one hit wonder I want someone with multiple season of success like Ben Johnson

I think people forgot that every one thought Goff was MID before going to Detroit Goff is legit a top 10 QB now

Breh Jared Goff literally had Sean mcvay in his headset telling him what defenses the opposing team was in and who was the mike linebacker and what to audible to

I think you forgot the rams was heavy depended on todd gurley on offense once he went down with the knee injury Jared Goff and the offense regressed Jared Goff and 20 tds to 13 ints his last year with the rams he was :trash: his last year with the rams thatā€™s why he was traded low key with was kinda azz his first year with the lions and made a jump once Ben Johnson took over and I donā€™t think thatā€™s a coincidence

ehhhhhh he was on a downtrend. the last two years hes had two of his best years.
He was a mvp candidate with the rams one year, Goff is who he is a middle of the pack qb, im would bet money they donā€™t even consider him the future of the lions

Yā€™all are not about to say dude deserve a job because he ā€œdevelopedā€ Goff, a dude who been in the league for a while

Like I said yall setting yourselves up for disappointment especially thinking bears should hire another nfc north coordinator, and he supposed to develop a rookie qb too, working with a vet like Goff is completely different from actually trying to develop a rookie qb

If Kirk was healthy the lions probably wouldnā€™t even win the north, I donā€™t know what yall looking at

Itā€™s more evidence that of Eric b leading a team versus Ben Johnson

It could easily be another situation where the offensive coordinator canā€™t run a team and the bears will be back at square one in two years if they hire Ben, let them go through due process and letā€™s see what happens

Thats Prime words not mine lol. Id rather have Bienemy, or Harbaugh. Goff looked pretty bad against us this year. If we do hire him tho Id be cool with it cuz anything is better than Getsy puss ass

Breh todd gurley was the mvp candidate not Jared Goff look at Goff three previous season before he got with Ben Johnson heā€™s a totally different QB than with the rams and you canā€™t compare Ben Johnson to Luke getsy getsy never called plays before coming here but since you donā€™t want Ben Johnson who do you want :jbhmm:
