All the reviewers are saying the same,What the fukk was this episode?
I dont think it's cuz Costner isnt at the helm. He wasnt writing, directing or anything like that. It fell apart because it focused too much on beth(was doing that with costner there) and they plan on moving shyt to another show. So they probably dont feel they need worry about the story. Whatever loose ends they have, they will use as a dangling carrot to get viewers to watch the next main line YS show. It's amazing how the show just absolutely fell apart without Costner at the helm.
After the first part of the season ended, the expectation was that the final 5 episdoes would be John/Beth vs. Jamie. Costner leaves so the assumption is that John is killed off screen and the season is centered on Beth vs Jamie. All the reviewers are saying the same,
Your go home episode for the finale gave nothing to advance storyline or build anticipation for the finale. And that there is to much story to wrap up in a single episode.. so just expect an absolute cluster fukk.

Instead we're not getting much on that, a ton of scenes focused on random characters talking about the importance of cowboys, spur makers, selling horses, and beef. Bunch of Beth and Rip hanging out drinking Three 6s vodka. Colby dies but the death's impact is muted because it's in the shadow of John's death.
A bunch of last episode was Taylor Sheridan sucking himself off, the fukk we need to spend half an episode focused on this minor character on how good he is at his job and how much he likes to party? Man got one of the Hadid sisters to guest star just so she could over his horse riding.
Do we really need another 15 minutes dedicated to another concert?
We're supposed to believe Beth would break down and agree to play strip poker? Rip's crazy ass is cool with his boy propositioning his wife to do that?
For his importance in the final big storyline, Jamie isn't in this much.
My guess is Kacey's plan is to sell to the tribe who agrees to lease it back. Jamie kills himself and the show ends with McConaughey pulling up the the ranch like Lex Luger at the Mall of America.
I've been asking that shyt the last 3 episodesWhat the fukk was this episode?
Five episodes to wrap it up and it's been filler episodes Jamie showing up for a few minutes an episode like he's Brock Lesnar and shyt.I've been asking that shyt the last 3 episodes
Yep, that would explain the drop in quality, that was already trending downward anyway.'Yellowstone' Director Says Much of the Show's Team Has Moved to the Spin Off 'The Madison'

Costner brought legitimacy and experience to the show and I can tell you, Costner had a hand behind the scenes in everything. Sheridan has fallen apart in Part 2 by himself... 1 episode left and nothing has really been done in like the past 3 episodes as far as Jamie/Beth goesI dont think it's cuz Costner isnt at the helm.
