I’m still catching up but the biggest cyse in this show is Rip not having any record of his existence. This dude drives around town every day for hours, gets into all types of fukkery, and doesn’t even have a drivers license?!! :mjlol:

out here catching bodies, law enforcement basically knowing this too but never getting hemmed up over it

Aight as someone who watched all four seasons in a week, I can give a fresh opinion on this.

SEASON 4 IS BY FAR THE WORST SEASON OF THE SHOW!

I should’ve known it from episode 1 when NONE of the Dutton clan died. :stopitslime:

Meanwhile, Jamie’s real dad somehow hired a militia (through a former cellmate) to kill the Duttons. How Jamie’s dad got the money, I have no idea. Next, Jamie finds out and all it takes is a hug to make this dude not say shyt. Nevermind the implications if word gets back to the Duttons. Jamie had zero reason to hide that shyt. It could only blowup and fukk up his career. And it would have been a great way to earn John’s trust again. Jamie is most fun when he’s bossing up. Him shriveling and cowering every other scene is pathetic. I mean at some point you’d think he’d tell his assistant, “don’t let my bytch ass sister in my office ever!” I’m not looking forward to another season where they have him by the balls. Honestly, I’d rather he killed himself than keep him in this endless cycle.

Lastly, I really hate the Beth character. I get that she’s the only female character that has agency but I’m tired if her badass Batman act. On god I spent all season rooting for her to take an L but the writers were too cowardly to give her one beyond the one time her dad told her he was disappointed. Brehs Beth literally goes up against super goons, financial sharks, and always wins. :dead: shyt so dumb.

I don’t really have much to say about Kayce’s storyline. That shyt was filler.

Like i said in the Kingstown thread the problem with Yellowstone right now is the stakes aren't real for the Duttons anymore.Yeah sure ppl come after them but its always the ppl around them that take the hit, even when it looks like they're taking the hit (s3 finale).

You said everything I wanted to say. Jaimie needs to fire that secretary asap. Are we supposed to be rooting against Jaimie? His character isn't even a threat. I barely like the Duttons at this point. They're a conservative Republicans wet dream. And they wasted the actor that played his biological father.

You can tell that Taylor Sheridan made his bones on Sons of Anarchy. Yellowstone is displaying some of the traits that fukked that show up.

Def. felt like a filler season. No real war, we knew who attacked the Duttons but they did nothing about it really for the entire season. Kayce about to leave his wife and child because a spirit quest told him to. Glad Jimmy got his happy ending but we didnt need to spend a whole season on it. Whole show felt like it was running in place.

 But didn't they break up before he got sent to 6666? I forgot who said it to Jimmy but they said if she really loved him she would've wait for him instead of giving him an ultimatum.

I don’t remember Jamie’s woman at all before this season. So when she popped up and started advising him I was a little confused. These shows need to have less time between seasons.

Overall I enjoyed the season, even if it feels like a lot of it didn’t drive the main narrative forward.

Even though he was on some fukk shyt this season not telling the Duttons what really happened, I still kinda feel bad for Jamie.
Beth been bullying this man for years over the pregnancy but has still yet to take any accountability for her own part in the mess. :francis: Yes, Jamie doesn't have a backbone but it sucks that his own "family" would never just tell Beth to chill the fukk out. John should've checked that broad sooner and even ask her what the fukk her problem was with Jamie (before she ultimately told him).
On another note, a lot of Jamie's current issues could've been avoided had he checked his future baby mama back in S2. When she declined John's call while Jamie was busy campaigning (and not tell him about it), he should've tossed her ass in the bushes. Without that one little incident, maybe he doesn't fallout with John, kill that reporter :snoop: or ultimately meet his real father. :manny: Then again, he'd still be stuck dealing with Beth's crazy ass anyway. :beli:
Anyways, Beth is just so fukking miserable. I was cool with her character at first. She was crazy, showing off her titties and shyt (better than the flapjacks for an ass lol). They've really driven that character to complete shyt. Turned her into the bytch they couldn't kill. Walking around all tough with resting bytch face and that stupid ass walk. :mjlol: Anytime she comes on screen now, I'm like...:unimpressed:

The stakes aren’t real because the Duttons miraculously win and escape every issue lol
