ok fair enough, shouldnt have insulted u, but still...lets resort from the "it was obvious" things. someone was taking ponder early even if vikes didnt take him. this isnt 2004 when a qb like rodgers can fall to the bottom of the draft.
for the record, I didnt like either gabbert or ponder either, but I dont go out of my way to pat my own back. especially I know those front offices would be crucified if they take a non-QB player that doesnt pan out.
to be fair Ive always been puzzled how those guys shoot up draft boards...and I dont think its just because gm's are looking to extend their jobs.
He's overrated imo. Mccoy or Peterson in that system would break the rushing record.

You can pretty much say that for any player on any team.... There is no guarantee he'll win a championship regardless of the team... I could say this about every star player in the league... Megatron, Arian, etc... No one is guaranteed to win...
Every few years the Vikes put together a decent enough squad that makes the NFC championship game.... He'll be fine...
1998 and 2009 is not every few years...u mean every 11 years

Besides Pep the Bears have built through the draft, and trades. And regarding AP I always knew he would return to the beast he was. Love watching that nikka play even though he torches our team all the time
