Jesus Christ - we're agreeing on something here and you say you were planning on robbing me?

Never gonna happen Kiko.

Let me put you on to something.

When I was 18 I was at a bus station after skateboarding and this white teen with black oily hair ran up on me and said "yo come to the corner, I've got a knife I'm gonna rob you"

I literally put my face right up in his face and yelled "fukk OUTTA HERE p*ssy!" And casually walked up the steps to catch my bus.

Another time a dude tried to diss me in front of my girl downtown in my twenties. I had him on the ground and started kicking the living shyt out of him. Until I looked up and saw 4 people with shocked faces around. So I stopped my psycho.

It's scary shyt. I love putting the unrighteous in their place. Don't be that dude homie ♥️

yea I'm grimy like that. I can't pass up on a lick. I really do know people but I never planned on putting nobody on :francis:

I never been down with the strong arm activities unless it was 2 collect a debt.

sorry not sorry.

:russ: I like that long pause in the beginning, because he was trying to figure out what approach to take to answer the question.

Should I lie and say yeah I think it’s hiphop and it’s dope? Or should I be honest?

I’m sure there’s a lot of artist that think his music is bull shyt, but would never say it publicly.

Drake is a major label artists dream in the late 2000’s. He is a pop star, he can’t be considered Hip Hop like Ghostface or Rakim is. He has more commercial appeal and his fans probably don’t care if he was Hip Hop or not.

You were never a threat tho. Nightmare Fuel is my most profitable and fastest selling album to date. My team and I put our own selves on. No new friends, no, no new friends - Drizzy "shoot the fair one with the artist formerly known as Mos Def" Drake :youngsabo:

Okay, Drake is a greater emcee than Mos Def though. Drake gave Common work on Stay Scheming. Drake did so many great things. Mos Def was dope when he came out. But when he force fed himself those tubes down his throat on video - and he wasn't in war. I looked at that like self abuse. Mos Def also came out as "Conscious" but what's good about him performing MF Doom songs in Europe? Getting paid off another man's art? And that's a new move. Same with this swipe at Drake.
Mos is a goof ball and a weirdo in his own right, but re: the bolded Drake ain't a greater emcee than Mos in no way shape or form.

Someone that doesn't move their own pen can never be a greater emcee than a writer's writer like Mos. And that's just one argument, but it's powerful enough to negate the other shyt. If you'd said as an entertainer or an icon or whatever. There's an argument. But as an emcee? No way.

YASIIN BEY TO PERFORM MF DOOM COVERS AT ONE-NIGHT-ONLY PARIS CONCERT

:dead: it's not like he's pretending to be Doom. I don't get how this is controversial.

Other artists cover songs or pay tribute to artists all the time. Mos is a KNOWN Doom stan. Like huge superfan. He did music videos of Doom songs years ago

No biting is a Hip Hop principle.
My bad that I keep quoting you over and over instead of using the multi quote. I'll stop.

I just don't see how this is biting. Biting would be if he sharked a bunch of Doom bars and pawned them off as his own. He's doing a tribute show playing Doom songs for Doom fans.

I get that it's a little bit strange. There's not much of a precedent for anything like this, but Doom wore a mask and I think that's the only reason it's doable. If Mos was performing Biggie songs it'd be a weirder. And if he's not kicking any of the money to Doom's estate then it's wack and tasteless.

Kind of weird for sure. I just don't think it's biting, though.
