I think very deeply
Usually the people that brag about all these stats and how hard it makes their city usually aren't the ones doing the crime. They want to be 'hard by association.' That or they are very young and still look at all of this as cool. Most of the people that lived deeply in that street life and are in their late 20s to early 30s know that it's nothing to brag about. Friends and families dying, getting locked up, having a record that follows you around so you can't get a job. I can go on and on. All of that death and destruction and nothing to show for it in the end. That street life ain't really nothing to brag about.
Exactly. (I'm still waiting for the rebuttal post from dude BTW) These fools that wanna tell ME we're soft because we don't walk around with as many rusty pistols as people American cities do are the same ones who don't do street shyt themselves and would be bawling over their dead brother's coffin at a funeral. Then a small minority of fools where I live want to exaggerate conditions and a life that for the most part, they're lucky not to have to face.
You wanna talk about "hard", try visiting a Brazilian slum that's so crazy they don't even know what the real murder statistics are and where police shoot down young street dwelling kids at a much higher rate like a video game and laugh about it, simply because businessmen in the vicinity find them a nuisance. I guarantee the residents there would gladly give their lives to move their families to our cities.
All these supposedly nerdy Asian (chinese, Korean etc) kids are from super tight knit and damn near secretive communities, studying and developing political, military and economic power everyday where their countries of origin have real weapons stored up. In general, they keep their heads down and don't carry guns a lot, so I guess they're "soft" while you got some dudes who wanna act like they're "real nikkas" because of bullshyt petty crime that doesn't even bring in real money anyway.
