I'll have to watch it again, but to me, "Rickmancing the Stone" was the worst of the season. Which is pretty much saying that it was the least entertaining compared to nine other great episodes.
I liked how low-key this finale was. They probably weren't going to top themselves after last season, so deciding to just tie up some loose ends here was a bold move that paid off. There's a major risk in making Rick super powerful and able to take down anything that stands in his way, so the fact that they brought back Jerry while also stating that the family sees through Rick's godlike image means he's at his most vulnerable state. He wants to be with the family this time and knows he can't run away again, so now, Rick's biggest enemy will probably be himself and trying to overcome his arrogance and inability to maintain a healthy relationship.
Dan Harmon said that once they realized they wouldn't be able to make 14 episodes, they took this one and made it more of a proper finale. That's probably why it jumps from "Rick and Morty defy the president" to "Morty is trying to hide the family from Rick" so fast.
