I thought the Evangelion dub was terrible, and the voices for Shinji and Misato in particular were grating as hell. And I'm talking about the original, never understood the love it gets. I haven't even bothered listening to whatever Netflix did with it, but fukk them for changing the music and cutting "Fly Me to the Moon".

The first time I watched Evangelion was when it aired on Sunday nights on the local PBS station, and it was subbed.

I actually didn't even see the dub (or even know it existed) until years later.

This chick who voiced Asuka only got the role cause she also spoke German fukking awful voice
