no trolling, this is a serious question since you might be more well versed into the dynamics and structure of dna. 25% is a very significant number. How is it possible the average african american has 25% European dna but the average african american cant trace a single white relative? I've traced my family history back on both sides to the early 1800's and not a single white relative. That's over 200 years. Most black folks I know (born of two black parents) cant trace a white relative either. My parents both tested under 13% European dna..I know "average" but 25% just seems like a number they put out and people blindly accept.

I got my racial makeup thru ancestry DNA, and as far as the European blood goes Ireland showed up in mine too. I heard a lot of Irish men owned slaves and breeded with the slaves and that they low key liked black women.

well you are using anecdotal information, very few people ever trace their ancestry, but its pretty obvious that AA are mixed simply because of the amount of light skinned people in the AA community, that right there destroys any stories you may have cuz its obvious AA are not pure african

the only thing dna studies are doing is putting a number on it
