I might know why this is, and in part it doesn't have to do with race but intent.

I had Halo 2 about three weeks before it was released to the public.
Back before facebook was out when Myspace was popping I would filter black women 18-22 in a 5 mile radius of me with Halo as one of their likes.
Then I would chat with them whlie I was playing it with the volume turned way up, and eventually they would be like "what are you playing?" and once I told them it was about 30 mins til they were in my bedroom (where my x-box was), and another 30 mins til I was fukking.

Anyway, the point was never to play Halo 2 with them. It was always to fukk them. And most of the time thats what happened. A few times nothing sexual happened and obviously they never saw my bedroom (or Halo 2) again after that because from my vantage point they were wasting my time. But, what I realize now that I am older is that from their vantage point I was wasting their time with my advances because my intention did not match premise.

Cornball white dudes will sit and play videogames with chicks that like videogames. Black dudes like me, despite being completely into that world (I think I was working at Electronic Arts at the time) still just want to fukk.

I think its cute that girls play games or like comics and stuff, but really I just want to fukk. So I kind of understand now why it is what it is...

Yo you jus reminded me of yhe last one I met. At my last job there was this black girl who was a bit on the nerdy side, she had natural hair an all. All she would talk about was white boys. HOWEVER she used to stare at me hard as fukk. I legit thought she was a weirdo and left her ass alone. Im bit alternative myself most black women probably assume I like white girls at first. 90+% of the time if you see a black girl with a white cadence to their speech they are self hating and white washed. Same goes for Asian.
