Russia sells the oil to India & China at market price. Then they buy from mostly India & some from China at almost twice the price.

All the politicians in Europe are basically idiots that are destroying Europe’s industrial base & economy whilst weakening their military (which is already weak) - to please American neoliberals whose eyes are fixated on plundering Russia’s huge resources that they can never get. Russia is still selling its resources & the war is helping its manufacturing base cos they’re in war time economy whilst mass producing weapons. Europe on the other hand is dying off.
The biggest winners are India, China, US (arms industry) & Russia (manufacturing). Big losers are Europe (all facets of economy, military stockpile & industries).

I wouldn't say Ukraine is winning but it shows how badly the Russian military is. The most effective Russian troops in this war are professionals/mercenaries (Wagner Group). The Russian military primarily consists of poorly trained conscripts. There's a reason why industrialized nations military consists of professional soldiers.

Even worse for Russia is the reputational damage, no army will fear them after their Ukraine debacle. They had a shyt army to begin with but Putin really exposed them fukking with Ukraine. It was so badly planned, they relied on bravado and the old supremacy they enjoyed in the region. Those days are long gone.

its kind of like Vietnam, depends on if Russia accomplishes their goal and I don't think they will fully..so I guess you can give Ukraine the win on that principle

Russia really had no choice.
Ukraine has the last viable port Russia has access to use. If they lose that port, they basically become a 3rd world country overnight and specifically lose it to NATO, their opposition. They taking an L either way but this way they at least go down with a fight instead of a wimper.
Germany needs to step out of the shadow of their history without forgetting the lessons it has taught them. Germany must be feeling kinda schizophrenic right now. With that in mind, they need to tool up and bolster their ranks.
