So people wanted the franchise to remain dormant? Outside of books that only hardcore fans read, a Clone Wars cartoon and a few video games, what was GL proactively doing with the SW franchise? The fans had completely turned on him in regards to him doing any more SW or Indiana Jones movies. He had a hard time getting any backing for that live TV show he wanted to do and ended up canceling it before it even started.
