Insulting
Sarcastic
Naturally hatable
Cocky
Arrogant
Dont play to the crowd ever
Able to draw money by how much people want to see them lose

NOTHING about either what we have seen from kofi, or what we know about him irl (ghanian comic book and toy nerd from conneticuit) says he can be convincing doing the above things. He is a great fit as the baby face that gets knocked around but rallys for wins and hits highspots. You all think for some reason he'll get over as a heel SO MUCH that he'll get that main event push. he's a mid carder who can succeed there for good.

I'm trying to remember right now, when was the last time Kofi got a legitimate push to elevate his position? He's the go-to guy to put a midcard title on as a place holder, but the last time I can really remember him doing anything aggressive was the mini-feud with Orton.

Turning Kofi heel would be cool for about a month tops. Without a manager, or a really good storyline behind it, he would end up getting the R-Truth style push where he'd main event a PPV against a face, lose, and then regress into the outside of the upper midcard for a few months. His moveset and personality are much more suited towards being a face, and it's not like he's a bad worker in the ring. I don't see him botch kicks nearly as often as he used to, and most of that came from moving too fast or trying to get a spot off from a bad position.

I'm rambling a bit, but I'm trying to place him in a feud to help elevate him once he returns, and I can't think of one. Even the Ryback feud would be after Cena gets done "surviving" him.

I would have Kofi be revealed as Katelyn's secret admirer; they set up a date. He date rapes her and leaves her completely traumatized, unable to win matches much less function.
