This dude's placement as a GOAT 3 SG is precarious. He's not even close to the GOAT 2 and a real deep dive on his career reveals massive holes to be desired...

If Wade had the health of the top 2 he would be closer to GOAT than you think. You had to be there to watch Wade play to understand how great he was in his prime

Harden is better at basketball than Wade but Wade is deservingly ranked higher historically because Harden has way too many meltdowns in the playoffs with no playoff run that equals his peak regular season output...

Wade has several meltdowns himself, he's not That Guy. You do realize that the only playoff W's in his career sans Shaq or Bron were over that Hornets franchise, quite possibly the worst organization in basketball history. You know that, right?

I don't think he'd be close to GOAT status though. But he'd be higher up. A healthy 14 years of Wade as a number 1 option would be interesting.

But I think him not being a strong shooter would hurt him.

Even in an alternate reality of 14 healthy Wade years, he never did anything of consequence without a GOAT 10 player next to him. So 14 healthy years we really talking a Melo-esque player without the GOAT 10 stimulus...

He was a great player. The degree of his greatness is habitually exaggerated though...
