R.I.P. to the lil homie. I think about suicide a lot, been dealing with depression for a long time. Mixtape is dark as fukk, going to put this in the rotation. I have a couple of months left before I graduate college. nikka trying to hold on.

Breh don't add this to your playlist what will it achieve

Sad story. :mjcry:

Dude's mixtape was average though. He had a few dope melodies and sounds, but it lacked structure and was basically all over the place even though it fit the overall theme. His production style kinda reminds me of @BlackDroog with all of the creepy obscure sounds and shyt, but just not as good as my Coli breh. Maybe he would have improved on his foundation had he lived. I know the music wasn't made for listening pleasure, but I can't help but critique the music if I'm going to listen to it. It's a natural reaction.

Some notes because this is very interesting. I'm not going do dissect the voice samples, those are kind of self explanatory

-During the 7 minute mark you can hear someone exhaling fast through out the song with a slight noise effect
-Same 7 minute mark he has sampled "Now for a break" which I'm taking as a subliminal towards his death and also it ties into common school phrases. As in your teacher stating "take a break."
-9 minute mark, it seems like a (police) Siren sample
-I notice a lot piano in his music, and the piano is one of the greatest instrumentals we have right now, the minor scales he choices to use can differently trigger depression or dark energy when presented accordingly
-Also his songs in general are very confusing....he lays a uptempo beat but it's carried by a very slow pace tempo....and somehow its very cohesive...listen to the beat at 16:00-17:00+
-One of his beats is very industrial and robotic...alot of distortion....beat at 20:00...try to visualize what he might of saw in his head making that beat..
-It's weird he choice to die by an element of earth (water)..most of the sounds he use are elemental related...this is his suicide note in music form and also his personal mantra
-The last sounds he used was a instrument tap with no rhythm, ending with an ambient sound which symbolizes his depature...

It's funny....looking at his artwork he might of thought he'd reach some type of ascension...only him and soul knows what happened next....

:dahell:YOU WROTE THIS shyt BREH?

shyt BE SOUNDING LIKE "HE USED A SNARE INSTEAD OF A CLAP, THAT IS A SIGN OF DEEP HURT FROM HIS CHILDHOOD CRUSH" :heh:

Depression is seriously a psychological cancer of the brain. It's a disease that if you choose not to get treated will kill you.

I deal with depression. This is the best explanation I've ever seen for it. It's so hard to explain to people. :salute:

It's like fighting your own mind but you can't run away from it or yourself. That running is what leads to wanting to commit suicide. I have never felt anything like it. It's in every crack and crevice and sneaks up on you like the boogie man sometimes. In the end you just have to stand up and face yourself and the fear.

I refuse to quit tho. :myman::jawalrus:

According to his insta he was being bullied. So if someone stole his beats they wouldn't get sued?:francis:
