Have Braun win, let him run with the title for a couple months before dropping it to, say, Elias, then have him finally win the Universal Title off Roman at Summerslam (assuming he still has it).

Meanwhile, send Miz back to Smackdown to feud with Styles for the WWE Title. Miz wins in a fukkery finish. Gets maybe two or three months with the belt before dropping it either back to Styles or to Nakamura.

I know it's the stubborn booking but the half assed efforts from the champion aren't helping either. His whole title reign has held back Miz, Finn Balor, and Strowman even before the Road to Wrestlemania. Most of his one on one matches have been either bad or average. The main event scene will be much better off with him gone. It doesn't matter if Crock held the title for 1 year or 1 month. Roman is still getting booed out of the building at Wrestlemania. Especially if they're dumb enough to let him win the Royal Rumble AGAIN.
