Best Netflix movie in a hot minute. I just thought a part of the movie would be his glow up to be a G after he leaves and does his own thing. I didn’t like how they just skipped to him bossin up. But still great fukkin movie.

in the beginning he mentioned that when a servant steals from their master the get killed. He mentioned that masters always know where their servants live and where their family lives just in case. Since he ran they couldn't kill him so they killed his family.However, he didn't know for sure what happened to them exactly but there was a newspaper article about villagers being killed. So he was imagining that's how it went down.
