Three Six off the strength of juice and Paul's production...Bone was definitely the bigger deal and don't get a fraction of the props I think they deserve, but post AOW I stopped giving any fukks about them...whereas three Six still drop shyt to this day that I fukk with (via juice's last run)...3 6 kinda outlasted them and put out more product

Exactly.

Again whether people want to admit it or not they had major influence. Also won awards with out having to sell out their sound.

3-6 didn't have more longevity than Bone. Bone broke through in '94. They were still selling records by 2007. Three Six put out an album the same year post Oscar win and reality show and sold less. From 1994 to 2007 every Bone release was at least Gold and they had a couple of those Mo Thug albums go platinum along with a couple of the solo albums.

What a dumbass argument :dead:

Bone's midwest competition were Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Speedknot Mobstaz, Dayton Family

3-6: Geto Boys, UGK, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Cash Money, No Limit :heh:

And 3-6 are better than all of the above :ehh:

There's a reason why rappers/producers refer back to 3-6's music moreso than all or most of these groups for sonic/stylistic inspiration

The people have decided 3-6 are the GOATS based on their stylistic musical preference :ehh:

3-6 is not better than OutKast, UGK, Geto Boys or Bone. We can stop the BS right there. Just because you have all these guys referencing their sound doesn't make them better. If you want to tale it there, we might as well say Gucci is >>>> Jay Z just because a lot of the newer artists refer to him more so than Jay. A

Bone is the only group to make songs with both Biggie AND Pac and they both CLASSICS. 3 6 couldnt dream of that shyt. This aint a War this General Custer at Lil Bighorn

I think they're the only artists to work with Pac, BIG, Eazy and Pun and they had connection with Jam Master Jay as well. I'm not sure if actually did anything studio with them tho. Not to mention Phil Collins etc as well

Most Known Unknown went Platinum while Strength & Loyalty went Gold :martin:

Da Unbreakables went Gold while Thug World Order & Thug Stories went....?????

Bone was consistently outsold by 3-6 during the 2000's.

But more importantly...3-6 was taking big diarhea dumps on Bone quality of music/album wise during the 2000's.

And where are all these "who's more popular" being determinant of quality arguments when it's a Nas v. Jay thread :scusthov: or Nas V. Pac threads :pachaha:

Or are we just using it in here?:jbhmm:

Three six ain't better then 8ball and mjg either. Since both are from memphis.

There would be no "3-6 sound" without Ball & G...so i can accept that. :ehh:

But their discog just doesn't hold up (as great as it is) when compared to 3-6's.

But you'll get no argument from me if you prefer Ball & G over the 6 :hubie:
