VF was always a classic and the 1st legit 3d fighter

VF5 is really fun to play

And as I mentioned in other threads DOA is based off a modified VF engine and has always had very tight controls. nikkas only focus on the titties but the gameplay mechanics are very simply and fun that can be played at an elite level. That and Tecmo has always pushed the limits on how graphically impressive a fighting game can be. Them same titties yall clown looked graphically better than basically anything else out at the time.

Iconic? :comeon: VF was always Tekken's lame cousin and DOA was Tekken's thot relative

With that said the new DOA looks good, will get it. but overall no, never really rocked with either franchise like that. seemed dull and Tekken did everything better

"lame cousin" even though vf pioneered everything tekken and every other 3d fighter stands on lol.

VF gets hate because its not as flashy and takes more technical precision simply to be decent at it, so of course it turns casuals off quickly. Its not for everyone but to be a real fan of fighters and try shytting on it is bs. VF laid the blueprint for todays 3-d fighter scene.

I never really got into vf but everyone says it's technical. What's technical and realistic about it?

Almost all of the moves are humanly possible, and the mechanics are closer to an actual fight than other fighting games. As far as technicality, look up vids of high level competitive play and itll show you up front how deep it can get. Its also one of the most if not the most balanced fighters you will find. You cant get by on any cheap tactics or gimmicks, you actually have to be skilled to do well at it, and the learning curve is steep. Its a pretty fair fighter, meaning that you wont be able to just pick up a controller and mash your way to a win against someone who knows at least somewhat about the basics.

Please name for me a well-received fighting game where the bold is not true.
