Firstly you misunderstand my point , you said she’s Igbo not Nigerian , an Igbo person is Nigerian which is the point I’m making , whether she sees herself as such or thinks like an average Nigerian is a separate issue
even though I was born in the USA and grew up mostly there and the UK I see myself as Nigerian ..... I’m not American and I’m not British, I think like a Nigerian (most of the time) and I live in Nigeria (most of the time) ...... just because someone is first generation doesn’t automatically mean they are Nigerian in name only (not taliking about this chick, just making a point generally)
Bros, shes not Nigerian- shes American and i wouldn't even consider her igbo either- when you assume the identity of another culture, speak from the standpoint of a specific ethnic group, adopt their values and beliefs you are no longer a Nigerian in my book. Show me nigerian woman married/dating to a nigerian man within the nigerian-american community that will write such a trash article.
you wont find one
you on the other are are confused. you are Ameribritigerian- Does that make sense to you?
