What are you planning to do when you are down there? Or you just going to jet set in and out?
Will be my first time on the continent so really just dipping my toes in the water, network and seeing the culture and people. Would like to get out to Kenya or Tanzania, Ivory Coast or Senegal and Angola before deciding what my interaction with the continent will be long-term.

Hit up Accra too if you are going to be in Ivory Coast or Senegal. Good city and there is a relatively new shopping mall you can hang out at besides clubs/restaurants etc. No language barrier either. You speak French or Portuguese?
Nope, i'll have guides. I know Accra is the "it" city right now and Ghana is the easiest city for Anglophone Africans to navigate but I want to hit up Ivory Coast/Senegal strictly for business reasons since I think they have their shyt together unlike say....Nigeria.

I have some experience in business in Ghana. They have it pretty together relatively and of all the countries, they are the only one with an active AA community group: African-American Association of Ghana
