I would too, but honestly, the success would depend on the writing. The reason previous attempts have fallen flat is that they're mostly just scripts that were written in a vacuum with a default (meaning white) interpretation of the characters, and they decided to cast a black person for the role. I think something that was written with a black actor in mind that accounts for their uniquely different personality, but doesn't overcompensate for it would be great.

Studios think that when we say we want a black James Bond for example, that we want James Bond played by a black guy, when in actuality what they're being asked for is James Bond actually written as a black man.

True, the closest we got was live and let die, which was a good script. True they can’t just have a black guy, it’s got to be for a black guy

Timothy Dalton most underrated, he was a different type bond, bruh was dark and he had a lot to fight for in both joints

Paramount and hbo max has a nice combo of the films

Diamonds are forever and live and let die was my favorites especially with the New Orleans and harlem scenes

Underrated was a view to kill, young strange’ and Christopher walken was in his bag as a villain, the mid 80’s music shyt was piff

We on the same wavelength, at times I was too harsh on Moore but Dalton was my favorite Bond.
