Yeah, it’s funny he turned the bond role down before roger Moore got it, then he took and only did 2 films because a lawsuit the studio was in for 5 years
They said he was the darkest bond, which was true, it’s like he got his fukk on, but buddy was focused, as opposed to roger or Sean, they enjoyed the fringe benefits, dude always looked like he was living in pain and exhausted from all the killing
People hated the Andy Dalton Bond movies because that’s when they tried making Bond “not sexist“. They introduced the woman M from what I remember and no more running through Russian hos.

Judi Dench M got introduced in Goldeneye, Pierce Brosnan's first Bond.

I coulda swore in License to Kill Dalton was smashing the plain Jane white girl and Talisa Soto.

been a while but I think he only has one girl each movie so it’s more like a love interest than macking on she spies

They did the retro thing with Mad Men about 10 years back. It was all love. Hell Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon is medieval era...

Old School James Bond was not PC at all. Even though we still got cats like Bill Burr running around and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia - traditional media now follows/reports on the crazies in Social Media.

Tumblr and Twitter would throw a fit.

In terms of spies, I really liked the Americans. I thought a reverse James Bond, a Soviet Spy series would have been dope to see.

Yeah, it’s do able, but it’s expensive i hear
I feel like every Movie/Series failure is really about the writing.

Part of the reason why Casino Royale was so good, was the writing. Whereas the last few outings, the writing has taken a backseat to the franchise, imo.

On the topic of America's Enemies - For the most part Amazon's Man in the High Castle was awful. But Quentin's Nazi in Inglorious Basterds was one of the best characters in a long time.
This is true, it seems so simple, but outside budget, song clearances, and director, that writing is number 1 gotta be tight

He was a dark bond like Craig, like this spy shyt stressful, including him going rouge to get revenge, i didn’t like him when i was younger but i like him now that I’m older
I'd have to say Live & Let Die right off da top of my head.
My favorite too

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
seen em all including the unauthorized ones... casino royale's my favorite, then thunderball

brosnan was a decent bond but got stuck with shytty scripts and bond girls with no chemistry

facts, i don't think i'd be into them if my pops wasn't
My uncle was the one that got me into Bond. TBS used to have Bond marathons every year and I used to watch them with him when I would go visit. Also Goldeneye for the N64 got me hooked as well.
