My fave QB was Steve Young. I like mobile QBs…. Would love Josh Allen but if he was in SF he probably wouldn’t have been given the opportunity to develop.

Purdy played meh given the circumstances, he didn't produce a stinker like many Eagles, Cowboys and Packers fans in here have been pretending. What do you mean "He's the QB. People really short circuit when it comes to assessing Purdy.
He's currently making league minimum salary so I'm not going to judge him on a hypothetical future payday. The fact that he's making peanuts is why we're currently paying top dollar to a bunch of guys who didn't contribute shyt to a W. When it comes Brock's time for a new contract, he'll probably command a lot of money and then we can judge him based on what he's being paid. If he drops out of top 10 production with a top 10 salary then we'll have a discussion. Until then, he's giving us top 10 production with bottom-tier salary. He's probably the best value player in the entire league.
I wasn’t the one calling him elite or looking for ways to critique the true elites (Josh, burrow, Lamar, Mahomes, etc) in order to prop him up. He’s mid and can play better wth elite players. You want to pay that $60m per?
I will judge him however I want to judge him.

If you don't think he was playing elite ball last year then I don't know how you judge QB play. I also don't know who you're referring to critiquing elite QBs to prop up Purdy. Burrow isn't an elite QB, but has anyone said Purdy is a better QB than Mahomes, Allen, Lamar and Herbert? He's in the next tier, but last year he was playing better than most of the elite QBs. He was a legitimate MVP contender. If that makes you and the fans of teams who hate the 49ers mad, I'm sorry, but it's all there on tape and in the stats.
I don't want to pay Purdy $60M/year. I wouldn't do that if I was the FO. And I don't think he will end up getting $60M.
