Deion is always yelling "GO FOR THE INT" on NFL NEtwork on Hail Mary's. Don't leave it to swatting the ball to someone. CAtch that shyt and make it yours. He made the right decision.
first of all ducktales on saying EVERY TEAM is taught to swat the ball down, rather than catching it, second of all..

So Deion Sanders saying to catch the ball on NFL Network is the end all be all on the situation? FOH
Every coach i've ever head when i've played football always told us to knock the ball down on an Hail Mary situation. Not sure where you played football at but commen consensus is that you knock the ball down in that situation
deon sanders? OF COURSE he would say go for the INT...
but yes, every team DO teach them to do that.
when did i imply that it was the end all be all? deions opinion and experience is a testament to the cause of catching the ball... i was providing PROOF.... not a baseless statement like " EVERY TEAM is taught to do on a hail mary pass. and that's KNOCK THE BALL DOWN!!! NEVER GO FOR THE CATCH!" .... which is just ducktales....
i've always been taught ... if you have definitive position to make a play.. you make it... if your in the position on the field in regards to the other players on your team... you make a play.
you got evidence of this, or you just saying this because you believe that it's the right option?
Great play by Jennings, but what are defensive backs taught in Hail Mary situations? Knock the ball down. Jennings out-jumped and had better timing than two Seahawks and three other Packers. The game is over if he swats that ball down instead of catching it.
Ask a football coach or talk to high school team or local college team regarding that instance and see what they tell you. I played in high school, the coach used to drill that into the DB's constantly. Dont try to be no hero or pad stats, you knock the ball down. That's basic s**t.
I thought this was basic knowledge, I never even played on a football team and I knew this.
Regarding the bolded, you need to know and it depends on the situation of the game. At the end of the half or end of the game in that situation you knock the ball down and play it safe. If it's in the middle of the game and you got a chance to catch it and return it, by all means do so. But in an game ending Hail Mary situation you knock it down and keep it moving.

Darren Sharper on NFL Network himself said you knock the ball down in that situation, plenty of DB's and coaches have said before you knock the ball down. Look it up for yourself if you think im posting this s**t for my health

you see it as padding stats, when really its making the most logical decision...
again nothing you said outweighs what i wrote,,,, nothing, so there's no point in me posting the same shyt over and over, in hopes of you comprehending what im saying.....
that ain't no evidence.... ... nikka... that's a columnist opinion on the matter...... you just said every team is taught to swat the ball, not catch the ball.... where the evidence at? wheres it at?>
