My problem with conscious rap has always been that the rappers get too deep into the "lyrical/miracle" bag.

It never makes any damn sense. Conscious rappers are dumb and not crash out #678 because "well they're not selling intelligence". It's BS and an excuse.
Same people will say 'balance' is needed but don't support any rappers on the other side of the gate because of some made up standards and expectations that don't exist for the other 90% of Hip Hop.
