Jordan stans had to have known that the social media criticism towards LeBron would come back to bite them to make it open season for Jordan
This isn’t social media criticism. This is objective statistical analysis.

When MJ finally starts seeing social media criticism, his stans are gonna beg for the days of these types of articles.

I think this Riley quote explains it well in terms of different styles of defending:

Ahead of a matchup against the Bulls in 1988, Pat Riley, then the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, remarked about Cooper and Jordan’s contrasting styles.

“Cooper’s idea of defense is to shut a guy down with [ball] denial, cutting off passing lanes and containment by fighting through picks,” Riley told the L.A. Times. “Michael Jordan is more like a free safety in football, always gambling, blocking shots and looking for steals. He’s so good at it because of his anticipation. People aren’t going to believe it because he’s such a great offensive player, but his defense deserves more recognition than it gets.”

But John Stockton might actually be the biggest fraud in this article:

But then they reviewed a video clip of John Stockton getting an assist on a Karl Malone bucket, and things got weird. ”There was no causal connection between the pass and the basket,” Rucker told me on PTFO. “And the majority opinion by a mile was, ‘Oh no, that’s definitely an assist.’”

According to Rucker, the scorekeepers told him in no uncertain terms that it was an assist because it was John Stockton. Rucker soon realized what was expected. In Rucker’s view, it was inferred that part of the scorekeeper’s job was to give hometown stars the star treatment.
Never won shyt, got bounced in the first round hella times, gave Malone ZERO help scoring in the Finals

All this bum has is his assists and steals records and even that was inflated. :mjlol:

I don't want to see this clown in any top 5 PG discussions again.

My beef with the article is he mentions them having access to five games and keeping stats and noting all these differences. Why not throw up those games on youtube or somewhere that the reader could verify what they are talking about. They had no problem throwing up articles with clips of the Shaq game or the Raptors 23 block game.

On a side note I actually went back and watched the Shaq 15 block game when they showed it on NBATV and that was definitely some funny scorekeeping. So it wouldn't shocked me if Jordan benefited from it.

This is a good point. I guess the only concern would be potential copyrights from the NBA, but there's been some full games uploaded on YT from non-NBA accounts recently.

As usual, none of these MFs in here are addressing the meat of the article, just deflecting and making personal attacks.

This isn't even new info necessarily. This user uncovered the shady statkeeping of the Bulls back in February.

This is Mossad level "this was a Hamas homebase" connect the dots at all costs type of shyt. The dedication to discredit anything Jordan did to prop up a certain player is both insane and admirable :skip:
