Warren, is that you? lol

No he was NOT better then Elway

And take away TD, Smith, Top 5 D? How about we remove his right arm as well? So your saying TD and Smith made Elway? Let me guess Ed McCaffrey made Elway as well? You sure Elway didn't make Smith & McCaffrey? TD was a beast but lets not forget Gary and Anderson in that same system. I think you aren't giving Elway enough credit for helping out those WR's and RBs

Power and accuracy? Moon def had arm strength, but not many will say he was an accurate passer. His carrerr comp% is lower then Bree's worst season as a full starter.. He barely even cracked 60% when Brees, Young, Aikmen are in the mid/high 60s, some 70s,

Again not hating on Moon, one of the finest class acts in NFL history and dude had an arm, but lets chill with the better then Brees and Elway talk

Dude he had better stats than Elway, what the hell are you talking about.

:what:

Brees plays in a incredibly qb and offense friendly league now, different than what Moon had to play in,

So
Elways record 148-82-1
Moons record 102-101-0
Less Yards Elway
Less TDs then Elway
More INTs then Elway
Less Rushing Yards then Elway
Less Rushing TDs then Elway

:snoop:
Next your gonna say 25 less games, and better stats "per game" or come back with Elway had a better team... I get it...You can say Moon is better then Elway, but me like the rest of the world will agree to disagree

Elway was an avg QB until about 93-94 and even when he got the rings he had stacked teams.

Warren Moon could have had some rings, had the NFL not been so adamant against employing Black QBs.

Average? :sas2::snoop:

Ok I am done, some people around here obviously dont respect Elway or hate on him for some reason, but you all are insane thinking Moon is better, and funnier saying he was "avg" from 84-93.. I am heading back over to the sneaker threads :heh:

Uncertain grounds
warren is one of the reasons im a seahawks fan :manny:

he was a beast for them mad late in his career. moon --> galloway/blades was dope. madden 97 on genesis :mjcry:

41 years old 25td/16ints..lead the league in yards passing per game. about 3700 yards passing in 14 starts..had a tough schedule in AFC west that year and he was 7-7 as starter..lost two games in OT and also by 3 in denver..went for 256 yards and 3 tds..outplayed elway (that broncos team went 12-4) http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199711020den.htm if dennis erickson wasnt our coach we mighta had a playoff shot

he'd easily be a top 5 qb if he was in his prime right now

Yeah......for a 10 year stretch he averaged 18 touchdowns and 15 picks per season. That is pretty much the definition of average.

But how did you get it to break it down specifically for you on that site?

Just a incredible cannon. Few have better arms. Much respect for Warren Moon

I voted for everybody besides Romo, Rivers, Mcnabb, Elway, and Kelly as being better than Warren Moon.

Had Moon played in the NFL when he initially came out, who knows what records he would have set. he was 28 when he first started in ithe NFL
White man did him so dirty....
They knew he was the real deal thats why they fukked him....

Notice when they mention great QB's they never bring up his name even tho his numbers are right there?

The Houston move hurt his legacy for sure.

I put him above Favre
