What’s wild to me is that this era was so underappreciated at the time

All people wanted to talk about was how bad WWE’s 3.5 ratings were, how wrestling was dead, how TNA wasn’t shyt, had too many spot monkeys and WWE “rejects”

This was the era when dweebs started using terms like “ring psychology”

The wrestling community can be so hypocritical & full of crap sometimes especially coming from it's consumers.

When tna was coming up all people did was talk down about how it's the size of a high school gym & how every wwe wrestler that made the jump was a has been or wwe reject.

Nowadays its why would you wish for a company to go outta business, we gotta support every wrestling company cuz it's good for the industry.

Tna was ahead of it's time & it's so ironic the same thing they were criticized for is now being celebrated.

Nxt crowds are the best. *chants nxt*

Watch when so & so leave wwe they gon blow up at aew:manny:

A lot of short sightedness & not looking at the grand scheme of where the industry was headed is one of the reasons why it's in the state it's in today.

These are facts. I’m guilty of doing all of that shyt in the past too, but you look at what TNA has contributed to the business, the fact that most of the WWE roster at this point worked for them in some capacity, and you’ve got a whole generation out there now who grew up watching them now reminiscing about that era, it’s hard to not give TNA their due. For a very long time, they were an entertaining, solid alternative and even still I hear good things about them even if they’re not as big as they used to be.

Some good memories in this thread. :wow: Agree with all of it. The Christian Cage run was probably the highlight for me.

Don West. Always thought dude got done dirty in the wrestling business, like he was punished for not being a wrestling lifer.

Seemed like they always saw him as a stopgap. He was dope as a heel but in the end that didn't matter. :manny:
