I remember how fast I dropped those two. Started getting a feeling in the later seasons of SOA but The b*stard Executioner was proof that Kurt Sutter is just trash without somebody over his shoulder checking him. I want to like this show but the deconstructed storytelling is making it a chore to get through and aside from President Diane Lane and Agent 355 I'm not feeling any of the characters.
Worst of all I immediately hated Yorick which shouldn't have happened because I really liked the character in the comic.

Another small gripe i got with this, and I dont know when this was filmed, but after living with a highly infectious virus for the past 2 years a virus taking out every man in the matter of days just seem so out of the realm now days.

So aint no women who know how to get cellphone towers up, or make small farms and gardens, and turn water and power on?
This shyt should not take place in today. Should take place in the 1930s-60s before women entered the workforce.

If they wanted to go with civilization falling then they should've started the show like 5-10 years after the virus and then they can do flashbacks of how political/religious/moral differences caused a civil war that ended up fukking over everyone.
But having society fall apart in 3 weeks just drives home a point that I really don't think the woman running this show wanted to put out there: namely that women can't run shyt.

I see this based off a comic but I never knew it existed until this show, so I dont know if thats the point of the story or not.
Show makes women look terrible and useless, and a lot of women gon watch it off the concept of the show and then realize what this really looks like-a woman led society would be rendered useless in under 2 weeks.

Did you not see what happened after Hurricane Katrina? Stuff goes fugazi when people don’t have power for a few days.
That was one city with the rest of the country to help and still went to crap.

As a huge fan of the book I might end up dropping this, all the shyt in those 3 episodes could had been condensed into just one and I can already see a bunch of uninteresting sub plots that are gonna take away from the main plot, just focus on Yorick's quest and the mystery surrounding the event
