Things must not have been that great with attendance and ratings. Supposedly XFL had enough money to be funded for 3 years, they must’ve blown through that because does anyone know anyone who paid money to attend these games?

I'd say probably not.
As of now, the earliest this comes back is 2022. They'll need to completely repopulate rosters, and I'd imagine that even the executives will have moved on by then.
Sucks to see people out of jobs, but even in the best of times, this was a venture that was going to live close to the edge.
