Yeah, the story snuck me too.
They throw a lot at you in the end. They were dropping all kinds of hints about Elma... I was thinking that her real body was some heinous burn victim
I had no idea that I was cheesing the final boss fight though. Alexa with that Overclock . Fight on foot? Naw. We don't do that
low key elma is that bytch

Make sure when you get your robot (skell) to use that glow ball when you're on the ground. Is it me, or does the map get a bit confusing to read to follow where to go? I did however just beat a boss and got this sentient potato thingy, Tatsu, that gave me this glowing light ball that is supposed to help with navigation it seems. Hope that works well. I went to bed right after getting it, so I didn't test it out too much. I'm at like level 8 or so for my main character. Kinda getting the hang of the game more now.

Some reason it goes nuts when you use it in the air, but yeah, the map is confusing as hell. I had to just learn by playing where the general area was.
Chapter 9 and 10 are the "is your shyt together?" tests of the game. Even if you're around the right level for it, you gotta make sure you and your squad can actually deal real damage or have the tools necessary to survive a slugfest. So I found a nice ass farming spot at Jair Fortress. Went from level 37 to 47, in about an hour, fighting level 55-57 enemies. I mean shyt, their names showed up blue...And blue means GO in my book. I'm doing this infiltration mission so I can do Chapter 9.
My frustrations with this game are reaching a head. The fast travel system is broken. The missions are locked behind all sorts of arbitrary bullshyt. The party system is trash. I dismissed a chick and not I've got to physically find her to re-add her to my party.
This game just suffers from poor tedious design. It's a chore to play. I'm really sick of all these high level enemies on the world map too. I find I spend most of my time running around a mostly barren map trying to avoid them.
