Its not a game :why:

I was fukking around with some trash mobs and some splash damage from one of my SCOUT attacks just grazed one of those giant motherfukkers. Dude sneezed and buried my whole team :to:
:mjlol: the scale of the map plus the fact that you have these massive tyrants who'll fukk your shyt up no matter what level or skell you got makes exploration just :banderas:

Seriously the best open world I've played, feels almost like Final fantasy 14

I dont know what the fukk I'm doing:laugh:

Just running around trying to figure out this combat system at the moment
I just found out I could cancel fights by pressing A. Before that, I would run away if I made a mistake and target a monster and I'm 60+ hours in.

When you get to the point that you're mining, you're making guap every 15 minutes or so. Kinda like Final Fantasy 8 and the SeeD payments.

Game has a anti-idle system to it so you can't leave your game going overnight to stack your money AND you can't just slap a rubber band on the joystick over night either.

Doing the intervals from the fan makes the game think you're still playing.

Brehs get 3.1 Million a night doing that. :pachaha:

You're a ways from that though.

i don't think so. god knows i'd be broke by now :russ: - UNLESS YOU'RE IN A SKELL in that case, you're looking at over 100k per dead skell on the cheap side if you don't have insurance on it. if you're going down, abandon ship. if your ai is, don't wait til they're redlined... tell them to bail at around 30-40%

every huge skell battle is an investment and a calculated risk. sometimes you might actually be better off on foot. skell's are great for soaking up damage between level 20-45 or so, but after that it levels off a bit again with the skills armor offers and cross class skills you can get for yourself (HIGHLY recommend switching classes after you hit max level too. opens up crazy mixups, but you need to be a bit stingy on the BP)

i hit level 40 the other night but i still got fear in my heart. Cauldros is a scary place.

the game is deep. fallout 4 would've kept its hooks in me if the game didn't let me get high and punch the world senseless. that and the fact that sidequests kept sending me to locations that i'd already hit time and again and i just had to take a break. its a great game, but i just needed something more deep.

anyways - you'll notice later on that certain weapons have DRASTICALLY different playstyles. for example, javelins are slow, but they offer outrageous damage potential if you have support where as knives are quick but offer a host of support/survival arts. dual guns lack in the damage department, but builds TP like crazy - rayguns will take days between each art, but will lay down a city.

the standard team that the story rocks with is pretty much geared to let you do whatever you want (with a slight preference towards melee) between elma who's pure DPS with cloak options and lin who's just a great all-around tank/toppler. later on, you'll have to consider more approaches.

be sure to knock out the sidequests (fukk the gathering ones) too. some will offer new NPCs, new arms manufacturers, etc

Potential is an important stat. It effects the healing you get from any combo (soul voice) on top of regular healing options. Green artes almost always cover your defensive/healing needs. Auras can do the trick too, especially with the more aggressive weapons - sometimes they'll offer continual healing over time, heals for every attack, etc.

Its not straight forward, if you want to heal conventionally then its pretty straight forward with the AR. Nonconventional healing can be HUGE, although very risky.

Basically just know your teammates artes and soul voice triggers and you'll always be aware of what you need to do and precisely hen in order to get your heals/buffs/etc. I had a really good setup for my early sniper build where whenever I got to high ground, It'd cause Lin to topple, Elma to debuff with fatigue (on top of doing stupid damage), and Doug to open up with a stupid large beam attack before handing it back off to me for a heal/evasion for everyone.

The game is that sick if you put the extra time into soul voices and artes.

Also, don't forget to check your NPCs skills - they rack up points just like you do. And new ones get the full ongoing stack from the very beginning so you'll be working with a gang of points for new people you pick up later in the game.

Preciate all that breh. Going to get used to the controls and combat later today.
